Following are the required files for using JIRA 3.7:
- atlassian-jira-enterprise-3.7.zip. Take Enterprise EAR/WAR (download)
- HSQL 1.8.0.7 (download)
What steps do I need to follow to install JIRA?
Use the following steps to install JIRA 3.7:
- Keep the hsql-driver (hsqldb.jar) in Pramati lib/ext.
- Start the Pramati Server.
- Shut the Server down.
- Open the resource-config.xml present in
<install_dir _moz-userdefined="">/server/nodes/default/config/resource-config.xml.
- Add the following snippet inside the
<connection-factories> tag:

In the above snippet, change the "url" to the path where you want to store your db information.
- Add the following snippet inside the
<datasources> tag:

- Restart the pramati server. You should able to see JiraDS binded. (type: status naming)
- Extract the atlassian-jira-enterprise-3.4.3.tar.gz directory. This directory is herein referred to as $JIRA_HOME.
- Copy $JIRA_HOME/webapp/WEB-INF/classes/entitydefs/entitymodel.xml into $JIRA_HOME/edit-webapp/WEB-INF/classes/entitydefs.
- Replace $JIRA_HOME/edit-webapp/WEB-INF/classes/entityengine.xml with $JIRA_HOME/webapp/WEB-INF/classes/entityengine.xml.
- Open $JIRA_HOME/edit-webapp/WEB-INF/classes/entityengine.xml and replace
<jndi-jdbc jndi-server-name="default" jndi-name="java:comp/env/jdbc/JiraDS"/> with <jndi-jdbc jndi-server-name="default" jndi-name="JiraDS"/>.
- Build the Jira application by running build.xml at $JIRA_HOME($JIRA_HOME> ant).
- Take tha war file created in dist-generic, and deploy the application in Pramati Server.
- Try accessing the first page (JiraLocal)
