What is the Installation Directory Structure?

Following is the structure of the Installation Directory:

/server

  -bin: Server startup scripts are stored here

  -lib: External and internal libraries used by the Server are stored here

  -templates: This directory contains various configuration XMLs and their DTDs

  -nodes: This Server Instances Directory contains node specific configuration information

What is the Server Instance Directory Structure?

-(node-name): A unique name that identifies the node

  -archives: This directory holds all deployed application archives

  -config: List of all Server configuration XML files

  -fos: The filed object store holds the state for the passivated beans

  -jmsmessages: This directory holds messages for all the destinations that are bound in the JMS service

  -logs: Stack traces and log messages for the node are stored here

  -temp: A temporary directory
