How do I Start Standalone Server Using the Server Administration Service?

To start the Server:

Click Start

against the required server on the Server Administration Service Home page, or
on the Home > Standalone Node screen used for configuring the Standalone Node.

The Home > Server, Start Standalone Node <name_of_server> screen appears.
The fields Host, Lookup Port, and HTTP Port, on which the Web Server was started, cannot be edited. These values are the same that were used while adding the Server, and are displayed as default.
Provide the following details:

Fields Description

Realm Provide here the Realm name. By default, this appears as system. This is a mandatory field.

Username Provide here the Username for the specified Realm. By default, this appears as root for the system Realm. This is a mandatory field.

Password Provide here the password for authenticating the Username. For the Username root, the default password is pramati. This is a mandatory field.

JVM options Provide here the JVM options, (-D or -X) if you want to pass any Java options.

The Status panel displays the related messages as the Standalone Server is started.
