How do I Verify Installation of Deploy Tool on Windows?

Use the following steps to verify installation of Deploy Tool on Windows:

  1. To verify installation of Deploy Tool, start Pramati Server.
  2. Open a command prompt and go to the directory <install_dir>\server\bin.
  3. Execute rundeploytool.bat at the command prompt. This opens the Connect to Server dialog box.
  4. Provide the following information:
    1. Server IP: Specify the Server IP or the host name where the Server is running. For example, 127.0.0.1.
    2. Naming Port: Specify the port on which the Server is listening. For example, 9191.
    3. User Name: Specify the username provided during Server installation while configuring the realm. For the realm system, the username is root.
    4. Password: Specify the password provided during Server installation while configuring the realm. For the realm system, the password is pramati.
    5. Realm: Specify the realm name. The default value is system.
  5. Click Connect or press Enter to open the Deploy Tool.
  6. To exit the Deploy Tool, select Archive > Exit. Alternatively, you can also click Exit.
